The main educational program (OOP) is implemented by SSU at the Faculty of Geography in the field of 05.03.02 "Geography", full-time education and the profile of training "Economic and social Geography".
The bachelor's degree program aims to develop students' personal qualities, as well as the formation of general cultural (universal) and professional competencies in accordance with the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard for Higher Education in the field of 05.03.02 "Geography" profile "Economic and Social Geography".
The main goal of the OOP in the field of 05.03.02 Geography, the profile "Economic and Social Geography" is to provide students with high-quality, affordable, modern education, and to train professionals capable of practical implementation of acquired knowledge in science, industry, entrepreneurship, and teaching.
In the field of education, the general objectives of the Bachelor's degree program are:
training in the fundamentals of humanities, social sciences, economics, mathematics, and natural sciences;
training in methods of geoinformation mapping and satellite data processing, the use of GIS technologies;
graduate preparation for continuing education in graduate and postgraduate studies.
The purpose of the bachelor's degree in the field of 05.03.02 "Geography" profile "Economic and social Geography" are:
training of specialists to work in economic, industrial, social, and recreational territorial structures;
training of specialists with professional skills in regional socio-economic diagnostics of regions, in monitoring socio-economic processes;
training of specialists with skills in analyzing patterns of formation of spatial structures of the economy and population, analyzing the development of territorial socio-economic systems and the territorial organization of society for further research activities;
