Bachelor's degree in Applied Informatics with the profile "Applied Informatics in Economics" prepares for the following types of activities:
research work in the field of theoretical and applied computer science, as well as in the development of new systems and technologies;
creation and use of new information systems and technologies implemented in the form of systems, products and services;
development and application of mathematical models of processes and objects, modern mathematical methods and information technologies for solving problems of science, technology, management;
the use of information systems and technologies in design and technological, marketing, consulting and financial activities.
The professional cycle of the curriculum discipline includes: computing systems, networks and telecommunications; operating systems, environments and shells, systems theory and system analysis, information resource management, software engineering, domain-oriented systems, information systems and technologies, fundamentals of functional programming, mathematical methods in economics, etc.

Research areas: building information systems, data warehouses, document-based information storage and processing, application of evolutionary algorithms for its processing; econometric modeling of financial time series, development of methods of financial and spatial econometrics, statistical analysis of savings market conditions, portfolio analysis, development of indicators of the securities market.
