The field of professional activity of bachelors includes: research activities in areas using mathematical methods and computer technology; solving various problems using mathematical modeling of processes and objects and software; work in the field of information security and actuarial and financial analysis; development of effective methods for solving problems of natural science, technology, economics and management; software and information support for scientific, research, design, and operational management activities; teaching a cycle of mathematical disciplines (including computer science). The objects of bachelor's professional activity are concepts, hypotheses, theorems, methods and mathematical models that make up the content of fundamental and applied mathematics, mechanics and other natural sciences. The bachelor's degree in Mechanics and Mathematical Modeling is prepared for the following types of professional activities: research and research; production and technological; organizational and managerial; pedagogical. The specific types of professional activities for which the bachelor is mainly preparing are determined by the higher education institution together with students, scientific and pedagogical staff of the higher educational institution and employers' associations. A bachelor's degree in Mechanics and Mathematical Modeling should solve the following professional tasks in accordance with the types of professional activity: scientific research and research activities: application of methods and algorithms of computational mathematics in solving problems of mechanics and analysis of applied problems; participation in research seminars, symposiums, presentation of own scientific results, preparation of scientific articles and scientific and technical reports; contextual processing of general scientific and scientific-technical information, bringing it to a problem-problem form, analysis and synthesis of information; conducting scientific research in the field of mechanics and mathematical modeling; participation in conducting experimental research on mechanics; the use of basic concepts, ideas, and methods of fundamental mathematics and their applications in mechanics; production and technological activities: application of information processing methods obtained as a result of practical research in the field of mechanics; the use of specialized software systems in solving problems of mechanics; analysis of the results of research and production and technological activities; organizational and managerial activities: participation in the organization of scientific conferences and symposiums; collection and processing of experimental data using modern methods of information analysis and computer technology; the application of fundamental knowledge in the field of mechanics in the preparation and conduct of experimental research; teaching activities: teaching of physical and mathematical disciplines and computer science in general education and secondary vocational educational institutions with specialized retraining.
