Foreign students from the Institute of Pre-University Education visited Yuri Gagarin Space Explorers Park to celebrate Cosmonautics Day. They were joined by interns from partner M. Utemisov West Kazakhstan University studying at SSU.
Students from Nigeria, Togo, Cameroon, Morocco, Guinea, Benin, and Congo attended the event. Guides shared the history of Russian cosmonautics and stories about the first cosmonaut, Yuri Alekseevich Gagarin.
Participants walked the "108-Minute Path," eagerly studying transcripts of Gagarin's negotiations with Mission Control during his space flight. They also toured the "Yuri Gagarin's Landing Site" memorial, an exhibition in the park's information center, and an alley featuring portraits of Russian cosmonauts.
