The annual All‑Russian event "Night of Museums – 2026" took place at the historical park "Russia is My History". SSU International Service presented two interactive cultural stations: "Turkmenistan" and "Africa" (Guinea and Benin). They were among the evening's most memorable venues. The Turkmenistan station introduced visitors to the rich heritage of the Turkmen people. Students explained the history and symbolism of national patterns and traditional weaving, showing how ornaments decorate carpets and clothing. Guests could join a hands‑on master class in weaving ethnic wool bracelets and leave with a small piece of this ancient craft. The Africa station transported visitors to West Africa. A student from Guinea demonstrated the intricate skill of weaving African braids, a careful, time‑honored art that drew admiration from the crowd. Students from Benin gave an illustrated talk about their national costumes and then brought the presentation to life with a musical performance. Playing traditional instruments, they encouraged the audience to sing and dance, creating a lively, immersive celebration of African culture.
